    Refurbished Phones [12]
The battery is an essential part of our smartphones. Having a good battery life for our smartphones means that we can use them for longer period of time, making them much more useful for our daily usage. Remember your first old phone from before? You may have forgotten the brand and model, but one thing you will never forget is that it has a removable battery. What do you mean by "removable battery?" Removable batteries can be taken out of the phone, usually by opening the back plate of the phone and taking it out. You could get an extra power unit for your phone. You have a spare battery and you simply take out the other battery if your phone runs out of battery.

Advantages of a Smartphone with a Removable Battery

*Easier to replace: You can just remove the old battery and put in a new one by opening the back cover of your phone. It saves time and money.

*Less prone to damage and heating:  if for some reason your battery overheats, then you can simply remove the faulty battery to avoid damage to electronic components and the battery's circuit.

*It is easier to fix hanging or freezing issues: if your phone suddenly hangs or freezes in the middle of you using it. You just need to remove the battery from the phone for a few seconds and then return it.

*Cost-effective: you can replace the battery by yourself, so there is no need to pay someone to do the battery replacement.

*Backup Battery for Emergencies: If you are in the middle of something and your battery dies, you can simply pull out the spare battery and resume using your phone and continue doing what you were doing.

Android phones with removable batteries will be much less popular than they once were, but they still exist. Samsung makes some of the best affordable phones that still have removable batteries, such as the Galaxy XCover Pro.

It is said that phones with a removable battery are more convenient and durable compared to those with non-removable batteries. However, since all the new software is coming out on the new generation of phones, it means that removable battery phones will be out of touch in terms of software. You can still consider buying a phone with a removable battery as long as the software and privacy durability are both acceptable to you.
