*Apples shipment decline by 1% annually just to reach 59 million units in first quarter of 2022. This happens after an expected seasonal quarterly shipment decline of 28%.
*Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo's component struggles continued that causes quarterly and annual decline in each respective shipment.

1. Samsung - they lead the market with 28.22% since 3 out of 10 use Samsung smartphone worldwide
2. Apple - the US phone maker has 27.57% of smartphone market share and they are most popular smartphone manufacturer aside from Samsung. Both Samsung and Apple dominate the smartphone industry and they have been leading since 2013.
3. Xiaomi - it is a Chinese company with market share of 12.24% they got an impressive growth over the past five years.
4. Huawei - it has market share of 6.53%
5. Oppo - it has market share of 5.25%
6. Vivo - it holds market share of 4.12%
Among those six top smartphone brands, only Apple is based in the United States. The rest comes from Asia to be specific from China and South Korea.
